    For the regression line I got a minus a with x and y's, and a positive a for the f and m's
    y=0.4x-0.49 possibly??

I got a negative a for the first part but I think my answer for the second might have been positive.

I remember 93 being in the working somewhere. Not sure if that was my final answer though. For the first equation I got y = -something + 0.395x (I think).

How did people do the last question?

Did you use a tree diagram or a venn diagram....I used tree diagram.

And for Q7b, did the question say that the student wore glasses or NOT glasses???

    For the regression question,
    a) we had to work out in forms of x & y
    b) coded in form of letters f (im nt sure the other letter - cnt remember)

then c) said work out the fuel.
but the question said that 'f' = fuel and the other letter = the other variable
dont you use the coded formula to work out the fuel?

what did you get as your regression eq.(x,y)?
    how about for (f, letter)
has anybody got a firm answer they are more or less sure that the fuel is correct?

    lol oh yeh!

I reckon it was easier than usual, but not easy because it was kinda long winded and caught some people out.

    imo

    A-62
    B-55
    C-48
    D-41
    E-34

I did a quick Venn (see attached) -- I can't remember the numbers. => Does anyone know them?

I used a tree diagram for the last question, easier to construct IMO.

Does it matter if you use a tree diagram?

Cause my freind said you cant cause something like there not independant.
Is Venn diagram the only way?

I know I'm usually wrong at these things but I reckon those are a bit too high. Everyone at my school said it was hard.

People at mine said it was hard.

I reckon it will be 60 for an A.

My prediction is 55 for an A. I know lots of people here say it was easy but I think there were quite a few who found it hard too. If I didn't go back through my work when I had finished I would have lost a lot of marks if I didn't notice a few stupid mistakes.

I checked but I will have lost a few anyway.

It is just the way it works.

I've seen papers where its been as low as 51! There are many other variables you have to take into consideration such as the fact that those doing it in January may have been Further Maths students, etc. 56 marks were needed for 80 UMS in January.
