Are 3 months enough to revise for 6 exams??

Hey, im resittin some exams in Jan for A2. Im on a gap year at the moment. With the new curriculum, teachers cant obv teach the old one. So i have to study at home and just turn up the exams in Jan. Do you think 3 month is enough? They are 3 Biology 2 Chemistry and 1 Psychology? Please let me know

Six exams is nothing :p: 3 months should be enough, yes.

To put it in perspective, my hardcore revision this year started in April (for A2 exams [and others] in May/June), and I had 16 exams. I say "hardcore revision" to distinguish it from "generic revision" which just involves glancing back at my notes every now and then to refresh my memory... the generic revision was continuous throughout the year.

New specification. 6 exams = 3 AS levels. I think that is quite a lot.
I learnt 8 exams in 2 weeks or so .... so yes.

Fair point, but 3 months is still enough. This is on the premise that the revision is actually revision, rather than re-learning (or just learning :p:).
only you can really answer this.
none of us know how capable you are, and what grade you wish to achieve.

you may be a genius, and therefore only need a day or two on each exam.
or you may suck terribiley, but still want an A, in which case your gonna need longer than 3 months
That's plenty of time! I spent a month revising for the thirteen exams I had in June and things worked out for me.

Thanks guys for ur advice, my first thread lol! Im just confused and i agree with digeridoo dude lol  I just hope i can pull it together. I better start soon.
Altho i must say i wont be like at school, being taught it. I already have it in mind so would that not give me an advantage? in the sense that its not new to me? or am i just fooling myself?
try 1 and a half months for 9+ papers lol. You're fine
Oh my good god, I didn't revise anywhere near that much for my summer exams and I did fine! Not that I'm a good role model because I really did do too little work, but three months is AGES, you'll be a little whizz kid by the end of that!
i say you should strat now instead of waiting 3 months befoer the exam, also it depends on how fast you can grasp the subject, remember you are doing RESITS

he's doing old spec resits tho!

Well OP if you knuckle down and work your hardest you should be fine. Some people do quite a few resits whilst still studying new things. The point is I think this is your last opportunity to do them, right?
So if you keep reminding yourself that, perhaps it'll motivate you to make sure that it definitely is fine!

I'd say 2 nights per exam is way more than you need.

Do you think that perhaps someone who is having to re-sit might not appreciate the "six exams is nothing" line...
