no, it's not much exercise, no more than walking I don't think.
as for variety ... I don't understand what your aim is.. is it to burn calories ? in that case you can't compare by "swimming once and skating once" as swimming will burn much more.

I don't know like aerobics once,walking once...etc

but how do you measure it? if you say 20 minutes of each then obviously it depends on the exercise..

if not to burn calories, how do you define "shaping" and "not gaining weight"?

if it raises your heart rate then it's aerobic exercise. just because it's fun doesn't mean it's not exercise!

And it's good to vary exercise that focus on different parts of your body, so you work all your muscles. swimming is very good as it uses all of them, but the main thing is to do things you enjoy so you are inclined to do them lots and therefore exercise lots!

I love skating and it can be done easily and in doors,but I mean I ajhte machinesexcept walking machine.

I'm mean exercising wise,skating is fun and I can do it while memorising notes and stuff.skating I mean rollerblades but because it's fun I feel like it's not a very good exercise to do, and another question
is it good to vary exercises during the week,like swimming once and skating once and stuff like hat or is it good to have ame type all week long
