University Card/Student Union (Please Help!)

Hi there,
Received my SU pack yesterday and it says to register with the SU. I tried to register an account and it asks for your University Card number. I entered my University ID (the 09**** number) and it said it didn't recognise it - so am I right in assuming we need to wait until we are AT Warwick and have our student ID cards before we register with the union?

Also, should I buy Freshers Ball tickets?

I think we need to enrol at Warwick University first, (which opens online tomorrow) and then we should be able to register at the SU.....Bearing in mind, this is just an assumption.

Yes, that's what i'm assuming too. Because it says for undergraduate students we can only enrol on the 14th.
