Hi guys

I have applied to study as an adult nurse and have received my medical form; about 15 years ago due to many things going wrong in my life I suffered from depression and am now ashamed to say attempted suicide; now I am very concerned about whether this will be a barrier to my being enrolled on the course, and advice would be most appreciated.

I'm not sure if this was affect your course, but I doubt it. My friend is doing nursing and another girl of her course has been sectioned in the past and was still allowed to take up her place.

Many thanks Molly! I kind of convinced myself what will be will be, but having survived such a horrendous time feel I would be a more empathetic nurse.

Is a weird intro query I know but the most pressing thing on my mind at the mo, so thanks again x x
