Just curious? Does religion matter that much to you that you wouldn't go out with someone with a different religion?

Where is the poll?!?

No, I wouldn't go out with someone of a different religion but only because I wouldn't want to make them suffer (I'm an observant Jew)

As long as I don't have to go along with that religion, then sure.

Also lol at someone above putting Christian and Catholic separate.

LOL at you splitting Catholics from other Christian denominations. I go to a Catholic school and I only know very few people whom have very oppinionated parents when it comes to relationships. Most Catholic families are very relaxed on this front nowadays.

It's only the hardcore Catholic families you've got to be wary of. They're easy to spot - why else would you have 8+ kids? :P

I would say that if I really liked or 'loved' the person I'd go out with them regardless.

But unless you've known the person a long time, chances are when you start going out you'll probably not like them as much as this. And if her family are religious and very oppinionated on boyfriends/girlfriends, your relationship might not get this far.

Realistically I probably wouldn't be able to cope with a relationship if our backgrounds conflicted alot. Particularly Islam, Sikh and very traditionalist Catholic families.

Meh. Depends. If they annoy me then no, I wouldn't enter a relationship with a religious persno. If it doesn't come into play that much, then I see no reason why not, as long as they meet all the usual criteria.

It all depends on the person.

It depends on what religion they are and how religious they are, and if they're happy to debate with me.

Also, this thread has been done about several times already. >.<

Not if they were strongly religious, but, sure, if they were liberally so, being an atheist myself.

I have done in the past and would be stupid to say I wouldn't in the future. Marrying however, I would not, most probably...

You do know Catholics are Chistians, don't you?

As for the question, I would. Actually, I do now.
I am Catholic and my boyfriend is a man of no faith, i.e. an atheist
