    yeah but I need to finish it by then 2 hand it in the next day.

    k the shape on a 10x10 grid is like a step shape with 3 steps. its got 6 squares and the stair total is 194.

    i have found the relationship between the stair total and the position of the shape on the grid - 6n+44

    n=position of shape

    I have found the relationship between stair total/position/grid size - 6n+4g+4

    Now I need to work out relationship between stair totals/position/grid size/other step stairs
