Does watching a DVD at his for our first date mean sex?

A guy has asked me on a date next week, and I was kinda hoping he'd suggest the cinema or a drink, but he's asked me round to his to watch DVDs. While I'd love this with someone I knew well, I barely know this guy at all. So if I go to his for the first date, do you think he'll be expecting sex? Not that I'd necessarily have sex if I didn't want to -- but I discussed this with my best friend and she reckons I'm putting myself in a dangerous situation.
Opinions please?

Yes, defiantly. No-one can watch DVDs together without assuming sex. If he asked you for "coffee" though, be careful!

It doesnt but it leaves possibility for it to go that way, so if you dont want it to make it clear before you go to his.
If it does now I know why when I kept talking to this girl I know and said why doesnt she come round to watch a dvd she didnt, and one time she text me saying she was bored and we could watch a dvd she came dressed up as if we were going out.
I would just think I'm watching a DVD round his house. But maybe I'm being naive? :dontknow:

I get your sarcasm, ha. But, it's just, as a girl going on a first date with someone who I don't really know, is it not a little risky, i.e. he may be a rapist? Unlikely but possible.

Maybe he just wants to save spending too much money. There is a chance he may be hoping for sex, but if hes a decent guy he should take no for an answer. If he doesn't call the police.

Yes it does. It's a trap and OP, you'll fall into it. :pinch:
unless you plan on turning up naked. no it doesn't mean sex.
kinda a strange thing to do for a first date though.
It usually does, maybe you should rearrange the date, try and make an excuse and say "I've always wanted to see so and so film" so you can go to the cinema, or else bring up a restaurant you've always wanted to eat it. If he refuses then maybe he has other intentions, and you could either handle this by cancelling the date or being very tactful when you go to his, ie not cuddles, and using the right body language, as well as not staying too late. He might not necessarily be wanting sex per se, but since you barely know his it's best not to take risks! Good luck.

Oh aye there's a direct correlation between DVD player owners and rapists

He will rape you.
maybe he doesn't want to spend money?
at the end of the day, if he does try it on, and you don't want it, you can just tell him where to go and leave.
I so hope you watch "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" and when it finishes he goes "Well what do ya say?"

Yes. DVD is slang for hot sex.

It depends on whether he thinks that you are an easy slag or not.

Me too. When did this stuff become so overanalysed?! Everything seems to mean sex these days. "You wanna go get something to eat?" "OMG HE WANTS ME TO GIVE HIM ORAL!111!!"
If you finish watching the DVD you've done well/badly.
