# AQA Physics A- AS - Good Luck / How did u do watch

3. 2 hours to go, just brushing up on Newtons laws

im currently covering the whole syllabus on a piece of a4 paper, just doing formulae, memorising the mark scheme answers

5. you people are up way too early.

anyhow. time for coffee and cram.

6. so ow did everyone find it? think unit 2 was easier than 3. but thats how i have found it over the practice paper, some nice long questions, was loving the last question!

right module 1 kinda easy but challenging. module 3 was a bit easier than i thought although youngs mudlus might have cocked up. i figured the length of the brass with the same density and length as the steel brass wire to be around 2.14m i think, can rmbr for sure tho.

That's what I did

16. I think theywere all quite hard papers, but I did ok in them all, I hope.

Patticles was the best, then electircity, mechanics was hard.

In the first one, with the refraction/ total internal reflection question, part A was draw it going out into air. 3 marks. What did you all do? Surely since it went from fast to slow it couldn't do total internal reflection, but since it was so many marks I assumed it had to, so I drew it reflecting to the bottom, and then leaving.

Also, for angle of incidence I got about 80°... is that right?

lovely, yes, that's what I did.

One question confused me a bit where momentum was conserved but kinetic energy wasn't, I didn't think that was possible! Luckily I put inelastic collision, saying it was because of the kinetic energy being conserved, and it seems that's right because I happened to bump into my physics teacher afterwards.
18. I only did Mod 2 today. Better have done better than last year. Can't really have done much worse lol - last year I had The Mother of All Nasal Haemorrhages in the exam, ruined the mechanics paper. Fingers crossed, need to do well
19. My whole school agreed that Module 3 was just too hard. What did you lot think. Im convinced that it was so hard that the grade boundarys might have to be dropped
20. HEY, FOR THE OPTICS QUESTION ON MOD 2 I PUT IT TOTALLY INTERNALLY REFLECTING OF THE LEFT HAND SIDE WALL, THEN REFRACTING AWAY FROM THE NORMAL AS IT LEFT THE BASE, IS THIS CORRECT? AS MY LINE SEEMED KINDA CLOSE TO THE FIGURE 3 WRITTEN BELOW THE DIAGRAM , LOL.

ALSO I GOT THE ANGLE OF INCIDENCE TO 65 DEGREES I THINK, BUT AINT TO SURE, I USED 40 DEGREES FOR THE ANGLE OF REFRACTION COS I CUDNT GET AN ANSWER USING 50.

AND FOR MODULE 3 , QUESTION 1, WAS IT A LINE BELOW FOR A AND A LINE ABOVE FOR B, AND FOR PART 1, THE KINETIC ENERGY DID YOU USE 2/3KT, AND THEN FOR THE NEXT PART TIMES THIS BY Na? PART 2 OF THAT QUESTION REALLY CONFUSED ME, I ENDED UP WITH AN ANSWER AROUND 600 OR 6000 JOULES I CNT REMEMBER NOW!!!
