A while ago I made a thread asking for opinions on a desktop computer I was going to buy. You lovely people over here at the Technology and Computer section reccomended me this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...-180-OK&tool=3

I've got the money together to buy a computer now and I wondered if you would still reccomend that computer or if you would reccomend something else?

If you are really nice (bored) you could find me something in a highstreet store. I could do this but I have to get to Uni and I don't know a monitor from the keyboard.

Budget - £400
I'll be using it for - Gaming, word processing, internet browsing

You'll be rewarded with Rep and love!

Does that £400 include a monitor? Because the overclockers PC doesn't have one.

Who recommended that from Overclockers?

You still need a monitor, Operating System and Keyboard and Mouse.

Firstly, why come in to a thread titled 'Who wants to put their Google skills to work?', expecting the OP to do it themselves?
Secondly, the OP could have already done that, and, as shown by your link, found nothing useful.

Sorry guys. I forgot to say that I already have a monitor and OS what not. I'm not that silly :P

It doesn't matter now anyway. I took a visit to a local computer shop and bought one whilst I was there. I just couldn't wait.

I roped in a few of my tech savvy friends and they assure me that it was a good buy.

One day and it will be built and ready for me

Thanks for all your help anyway guys x

£493.

It is lovely. Pretty lights and all

It's pretty damn big though ^_^

I think I could have gotten a better PC and maybe at a better price but I couldn't help myself :p:

I might post the specs if I can find them.
