I have an american friend who was moaning at about the cost, I must of muddled up the total cost and the cost per application. Either way, we get it for peanuts in comparison.


Yes, the fee for UCAS is not very much, for what we get, but given that America has no centralised application system and each school must process the applications on their own, a fee of $40 is not that unreasonable. It is slightly ridiculous to apply to 10 or so schools anyway.

Probably as more and more people are applying and it costs more to process etc. :frown:

In america it's regular to apply to up to 20 colleges.

If you are struggling that much with finance you can always speak to your school to help you pay for it once you explain your circumstances. Dont you receive a bursary?
