"Halal" doesn't only refer to meat from which the animals are killed in the right way, it can extend to things that don't involve meat too.

in FAQ:

Why are some products vegetarian and don't have the Halal and\or Kosher symbol next to it?

There is no particular ingredient (no pork (gelatine)) or any other products from animals not killed in the right way (in the name of Allah) in the bar that are/would be considered haraam (forbidden, by Islam), and therefore most/many Muslims would consider the product to be Halal (permissible). Certain bodies certify halal foods (e.g. the Muslim Consumer Group). We simply do not have halal certification and so can not put a halal friendly stamp on the products we don't have certificates for.
