    ah man i still gettin 142.7, to get the right answer I have to subtract that from 180...but why?

    my bad... you need to use the negative of the t values for the direction, ie so, you have two directions out from the point as opposed to one in and one out...

    right i've woken up now... ignore my last post. the angle turned to get onto the new bearing is 180 - the angle between the bearings (the one the dot product works out)
