The LPC/BVC are not usually undertaken at universities as they are not academic courses and they are not degrees. Where they are, it is by a seperate a school (e.g. the law school at Manchester is notionally associated with the university but is actually seperate). They are usually undertaken at the College of Law or BPP. I know that BPP will give you a LLB if you do the GDL and then pay to take two additional modules, not sure about CoL.

Once you've done the GDL, I'm not really sure that getting a "free" LLB really adds any value.
