I just got told by student finance that because I've withdrawn from university that my returning student application will be cancelled. They told me that I'd be applying as a new student.

Does this mean that I'm using the PN1 form?
There's a couple of questions that are a little tricky since I have applied for finance before.

1. Am I behind with repayments?
2. Have I applied fo financial support from a local authority?

Does SLC count as LA and do I give details of all the bursaries, grants and loans that I received in my 1st year.

If you are starting a new course then you are a new student.
Returning student applications are only for those whose course has not changed since the last academic year (other than progressing to year 2 from year 1 etc)

I don't think it's possible to be behind with repayments - they're automatically deducted from your salary with the tax etc. I'm not sure about pre-1998 student loans though (which had a different agreement).

The SLC does not count as a LA.
As for giving details of previous loans i'm not sure.
