My girlfriend had the pregnancy injection in december and has not had a period since.

Is there still a risk of pregnancy in unprotected sex? If so, would it be low risk or average risk?

There is still a risk. The only thing that is 100% safe from pregnancy is abstaining from ALL sexual activities (bar oral perhaps).

But of course the risk is very low, along with other contraceptions, otherwise what would be the point in having the injection?

She had the injection in january and it only lasts 3 months.

So she should be having periods again by now but for some reason she is not... I'm wondering what that means...

But I realise theres still a chance, thanks
