1. Are you male or female? Female bodied, largely female minded although I have gender queer moments
2. Are you L G B or T? A, actually. Anthrosexual. I don't take gender/biological sex into account when assessing my sexual attraction to someone.
3. How old are you? 20
4. When did you first realise you were L G B or T? I thought I was B for a long time - until I got to university in fact. I then realised I was A.
5. When did you (or when do you plan to) come out? I steadily came out to my mother over the last year. I hinted at finding women aestheticly attractive and didn't hide arty erotic images I had (I like a sexy desktop). I then joined LGBT at university, and told her about that. It took a little while before I actually told her I was anthrosexual. I never told my father, but I don't think I need to. He knows I a member of LGBT here at York and we've talked openly about issues regarding sexuality.
6. If your parents know you're gay how did they react? Mother was fine. She didn't react, tbh. She was totally accepting and nothing changed. I was worried I would have problems with my father, but he has untimately reacted the same way as my mother.

Then again, there is a huge amount about me that balances that out. I don;t have short hair, I rarely wear fleeces and I only use hiking boots for hiking. I wear dresses a fair bit and I am a filthy dancer. There is a lot more to a person than stereotypes.

Imo, you shouldn't give phobes the time of day, but fight hard and fight well when it comes to campaigning. As for phobia directed at me, I've suffered a bit of bi-phobia. People assume that I am just being perverse or difficult by being anthrosexual, and I get lumped in with the Bs a lot. I've had people tell me I'm greedy, or against nature, or a lesbian who is in the closet. I've generally fought back but then again it has either been online (where fighting is easy) or from people I know (where I can explain myself).
16. What do you look for in a partner? Loving, funny, attractive, intelligent, sensible, passionate . . . the usual crap. It would be easier for me to tell you what I love about an individual than to try and spell out my 'type'
17. What are your views on the political parties, who do you support and why and do gay rights influence your vote? I used to be a Conservative. However, these days I'm a) a little out of the loop and b) disillusioned. I want a party that supports a fairly libertarian agenda without being silly and crossing over into pseudo-anarchy. I also think people do need looking out for. Basicly, I want people to be free to do what they want as long as they are not hurting people and I want to government to fight for our rights and to educate. It's 6am, I'm too tired to talk politics.
18. Have you ever been on/would you ever go on a gay pride march? What was it like/why (not)? I don't like 'pride' much. We've got nothing to be proud of. That said, Pride marches/events are fun and a chance to meet interesting people. I would go to support friends.
