I have a five year plan or four I am not sure
This year I am doing my skills for life in Maths and English, I started yesterday and will be working for the whole year, Then 2010/2011 I plan to go on and do a access to higher education in Journalism and Teaching. I want to become a journalist and then I want to go to Uni in 2011/2012 to study Journalism.
Is it to ambitious?:mute:

Maybe somewhere in your plan you should think about learning the difference between "to" "too" and "two"...

 You stole my plan!!!!

This is precisely the road I took (and I start at uni ... next week!)

Having been out of education for quite a number of years, I wanted to update my academic skills with the Maths and English first. I'm so glad I did because it set me up for the Access course, which in turn, has set me up for uni. Any low points, I refocused on my ultimate goal of going to uni

My only problem now is - because I'm now into the uni phase, I need to look at where I want to be in 3 academic years time, so I can use that as a focus for motivation when the lows hit at uni

You are taking a good, solid route (not an overly ambitious one at all) and you will be amazed at your personal growth in tandem with your academic growth.

Very best wishes and good luck to you.

No, it's about as ambitious as my plan to be an astronaut which I fully intend on doing. Maybe. Someday.

If you have a plan sorted like that already, I think you probably have the means to achieve it, you just have to stay motivated and work hard (that is where I fell apart :P)
Just make sure you know what you want and how to get there and you should be fine

And you also need to use correct capitalization and grammar... was there really a need for all the pedantic posts in reply to the OP?

Back on topic... sounds like a good plan, I've never been too good at making long term plans myself but sounds like you know where you're headed so good luck to you!
