Socialist, Nazi, Muslim, Anti-Christ, Non-Christian, Hitler, Baby Killer. Those are just some of the choice descriptions the far-right extremists interviewed on camera Saturday (many who are clearly uneducated) uttered when discussing President Barack Obama. This nine minute documentary is unreal.

how can people be so gullible and ignorant..

Nearly a million people voted BNP in the euro elections in the UK, therefore everyone in the UK is a total moron, ZOMG!!111

There are plenty of legitimate reasons to oppose Obama, stop attacking the crazy wing of the American right and focus on the more sensible and moderate points they make.

what?! whats that got to do with anything?? I never said anything about people in the US being "a total moron" just because there are some right wing people.

And yes, obviously there are many legitimate reasons to oppose Obama but the right wing are doing wrong by literally brain-washing people with wrong messages... Most of the people interviewed didn't have a clue about what they were saying or supporting..

You've obviously trying to portray the American right as moronic, I'm just telling you that I'm bored of these selective youtube videos, try debating a moderate republican, they'd destroy you.

I watched 2 minutes of it but got tired of the bias in the presentation.

It mostly went like this:

Reporter asks opinion
Protestor gives opinion
Reporter asks difficult question, camera zooms in on the protestor thinking about it, then cuts away immediately after they begin to talk.

I have no opinion on the issues involved, just, you're an idiot if you form your own opinions based on that clip. People are so easily influenced by the media.

Of course its relevant, people are accusing the American right of being racist against Obama and this extends into republican criticism of Obamas policy - I'm saying that its a disgrace to use a small number of morons from the extreme end of the scale and present it to TSR, obviously so people will dismiss the entire American right because of it.

How exactly is that not relevant to anything? All I'm asking is that people step back and realise what a minority viewpoint this is in the American right, and also realise that you can condemn Obama without being a racist, I'm just worried this video will stop people realising that.

"Oh, Joe Wilson supported that? I... I'm not supporting Joe Wilson for president..."

*Camera points up at the sign that the guy is holding and it very clearly say's, 'Joe Wilson for president' which is then followed by an awkward silence*

It's just a bunch of moronic hillbilly's trying to get involved in politics, something they know nothing about.

Stick to your farms and your crossbreeding, bunch of idiots

That is not implied by the OP at all. In fact using the word "extremist" really does seem to suggest that the OP does not believe these are mainstream views. Hmmmmmmmm. Methinks thou doth protest too much.

Bet I can find you people who link racism to republicans in a next couple of weeks because of the bbc reports and threads like this. But fine maybe within the context of this thread alone I was too defensive, but have you seen the bbc news? Thats what really got my goat ...

Obviously not but we shouldn't let people who don't have a grasp on what they're talking about dictate healthcare policy to millions of people.

I saw this video yesterday and it got me so angry I had to go for a walk.

fair enough, obviously i completely disagree with the 'if you oppose obama you are a racist' camp too.

i think that the people who believe that obama is a muslim and obama is introducing universal healthcare because he is a communist trying to turn the USA into russia are linked. he didnt have a chance in hell of getting the support of those extremist people (unless he really is the anti-christ) no matter what he proposes.

there are plenty of fair reasons to dislike obama, but those do not include him being a communist/nazi/muslim/satan
