Hey,

Does anyone know of any good horror films to watch with friends. Me and my friends watched the ring last weekend and it just wasn't scary with a group. Something relatively modern would be nice with a few jump scenes.

Don't know about good but watching Jeepers Creepers with my friends was bloody hilarious. 'OMG A TRUCK IS COMING BEHIND THEM!!.' They're such wimps. :p:

If you want pure horror best off watching 'Freddie vs Jason' ,'Texas chainsaw massacre' or 'Saw 1,2,3 or 4'. If you want horror with a twist of comedy I would recommend watching 'Drag me to Hell' or 'Shaun Of The Dead'.:woo:

Watch something to do with a serial killer/based on true events, they always scare me most, especially when I start hearing noises in the house after.
Ill edit if I actually think of one lol.

What Lies Beneath is pretty good.
If you want gore, watch Hostel. It's very wrong.

I agree, that movie was so scary. I couldn't sleep after that.

13ghosts - weirdly crap and cheesy but sccccaaary.

THE STRANGERS - if you want one that will keep you hidden behind a cushion, then choose this. It's not gory scary, or even scary at all but it's soooooo tense and if you want a film that'll make you jump off your seat and scream then this one (Y)

The Strangers.
The fact that it's based on a true story scard the hell out of me, still does.
House of wax is quite good to watch with friends. Just go to your local video shop and have a look there

It has to be "scary" horror, right?
Hmmm,
* Ju-on, the grudge (asian version)
* Exte, or also called Hair Extension (not "that" scary, but it's a nice movie to watch)
*Battle Royal 1. (has got some neat scary/funny scenes)

The Saws and Hostels.

Me and my mates watched all Saws before the 5th one to top up on our Saw knowledge. How epically pathetic of us.
