Second Class Honours Degree @ SOAS

What is the GPA equivalent for a 'second class honours degree' at SOAS?

Also, if your own gpa is lower than that, do they make exceptions at SOAS?

I remember seeing it somewhere stated as 3.5gpa = 2:i and 3.8gpa = 1st? I may be wrong though.

I have seen on sites that a 2:1 means a GPA of around 3.2 to 3.4 or something in that range. Anyway which course u applying to at SOAS. Hope this helps.

Medical Schools accepting graduates usually work off 3.6 = 2i.

I intend to go for the MA Islamic Societies and Cultures programme. So a second class honours degree should at least be a 3.2 in GPA. Does SOAS make exceptions - say, if you demonstrate experience and passion?
