Im going in about 3 weeks, with one friend. Neither or us have been before but she's been too a few parties, been drunk a few time. I've never been drunk and I'm a major lightweight.

Im REALLY nervous about going! Anyone experianced this and then been fine once you go there? Do I have anything to be nervous about?

Sorry, this sounds pathetic.

Just dont think about it to much, its a very different experience, but if its not for you dont worry, you can say you have tried it. Just try and relax and have a good time. No one has any expectations of you. So you shouldnt really have to worry.

Basically, first time clubbers are really obvious to absolutely everybody else in the club so are therefore victimised and forced to strip naked and pole dance for everybody.

Other than that, just the blatantly creepy members of the opposite sex.

Get really drunk. Try not to get yourself chucked out.

The getting really drunk bit is essential, it makes you relax in a place that really is quite possibly the most disgusting room on earth. Sticky floors, sick everywhere, sex in the corners.

What more could you want.

Yeah, I was in exactly the same situation but it was totally spur of the moment so there wasn't time to be nervous. If you're worried about being a lightweight just don't drink, you can still have a good time. Its nice if you go somewhere where you know a lot of people cause its way more fun being in a larger group.

Aw, I'm really shy too but it was totally fine. Most people are way too smashed to notice what everyone else is doing. Plus you need to be kinda sober to make sure you don't dance with any gross guys or maybe thats just what my mates do when they're pissed haha.

Drink enough to help you relax and enjoy yourself but don't drink so much you can't get home/do something stupid. But that's obvious.
Don't forget ID. Duh.
If a guy starts hanging round make sure he knows if you're not interested. My friend didn't and he stuck around for the entirree night. Luckily he wasn't a jerk

I've drunk, but not to get drunk. I get tipsy after half a glass of wine.

You dont have to, you can stand by the bar and just listen to the tunes whilst you drink etc.

Go to a bar first and get a few drinks down you.

It's always good to go with girls as well.
I am a girl, going with one other girl.

Aww don't worry, I was scared the first time I went too. I'd suggest going with a bigger group of friends though.
I was never much of a dancer either but when you get there you can't help but get in the mood to xD

My advice would be go easy on the drink because you wanna remember your night, and put a few tissues in a zippy part of your bag because there is always a toilet without loo roll and you only notice when youve already gone for a wee

Neither did I, until I started going clubbing. I also didn't drink at all.

You live and you learn, there's nothing to be afraid about. It's not something you should dive into though. Listen to your body, relax and have a pre-plan with your friend. Everyone who goes clubbing had to have a 'first time'. You'll be fine.
