Coursework.info
It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out Coursework.Info, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.

They've got over 160,000+ essays, projects, assignments, coursework etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level and Uni students. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.

All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site’s used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.

Hopefully you'll find it useful

For shame Coursework.info... for shame :nope:

What is GCSE Media Studies like?

How well did you do?

Did you like it?

What stuff do you do?

Thanks in advance

i never did it but a load of my friends did.

they reaaaaally enjoyed it, they said it was fun.

a lot of coursework apparently, but its mostly creative things, like producing advertising and making TV adverts and things.

They all did well and said it was quite easy.

sorry i cant be more in depth but hth.

We were forced to do it simply because we were top set English pupils.

We spent say 3-5 lessons on the whole subject. We learnt camera angles, transitions, some basic designing concepts, what to put into a storyboard and a couple of key phrases which sound good in context. A bit of coursework to it - CD cover (I went on to do tickets and posters etc too); that took an all nighter the day before it was due in to do it oops! Then a storyboard.

I got an A*. The exam was quite fun though - we got to watch a clip from a film I wanted to go and see!

Absolutely tons of coursework. Otherwise, piss.

How well did you do? a*

Did you like it? Yes.

What stuff do you do? Have fun. :p:
I absolutely loved it... The coursework was really fun, we had to produce our own magazine using the generic conventions we saw in other magazines. The essays were less fun but interesting nevertheless. It was also REALLY easy, which was a plus. I got an A* and enjoyed myself along the way.

Seems kind of a pointless GCSE? But then they all are apart from the core ones

Fairly easy and fairly fun.

How well did you do?

A grade.

Did you like it?

Yes.

What stuff do you do?

Studied various products of media such as film, TV, comics and newspapers. We had to produce our own work of media as coursework; either a film trailer or a magazine.

Thanks in advance.

That's ok.

Haven't done it myself but tbh, at GCSE you can just choose stuff you like or that sounds fun, no-one really cares what GCSEs you've got (apart from the compulsory) as long as your grades are good.
