I think its ok, the main thing you should be aware of as that most the teaching courses are not in the city centre campus, however if its at Didsbury you're in a nice suburb with lots of nice bars so thats not a problem, if you're in Alsager or Crewe then you're miles and miles away from Manchester.

It is at the Didsbury campus? are you doing the course?

I can't be certain but I know a lot of MMU's teaching courses are, and they don't advertise that fact well, its nothing to worry about Didsbury is a very nice place, there is countryside near by and its only 30 mins on the bus to the city centre, the buses are every 1 minute or so and it can cost £2 a week for travel.

Didsbury has lots of nice bars as well, it is as good as Fallowfield but a bit pricier.

It should tell you on the course details where its based.

I am not doing the course and I don't go to MMU, but I am from South Manchester so I know MMU very well.

hehe its ok

I am hoping I will get a 2:1 but I really don't know, the problem is half the course are expecting a 2:1 or higher and the figures don't add up some of us won't.

I am just looking for a proper job at the moment, its going to take a long time though.
I was considering this course too, I've written them an e-mail about 3 weeks ago and they still haven't replied.

Might create my own thread  about a related topic.

Look, Dont be fooled by the name. The word multimedia is a fuc**in joke. I've Been there and done that. If you like the curriculum than remember that the work is up to you. Its a saturated market here in the US. Best of luck to you.
