Hey everyone, just need some reassurance! I know this isn't specifically a GCSE section of the studentroom but...

I am predicted an A* in history and won the history award this year but only got a C in my mock. I think I messed up my actual exam too. In ther question asking if Greek or Renaissance medicine was more important, i wrote about Pasteur, anesthetics and antiseptics for Renasssiance - tottaly WRONG, I don't know what I was thinking. I did have one or two lines about Harvey which would have been okay, and the stuff about the Greeks would have been too. But have I messed up completely?!

Gud luck in ur exams - or good luck for ur results,
    Hannah xx

Heya - I'm not really sure, but best of luck anyway and I hope it all works out okay. Don't loom on it and don't let it ruin a really good summer.

    Take care and good luck,

It might be better than you think. Don't dwell on it!

My best friend got a C in her History mock and came out with an A*... she's now on track for an A at A2 as well

    Good luck!

Wouldn't worry about it at all! i know it seems like THE most important thing at the moment, but those gcses really don't mean much at all. you never know, that was only one question and there are so many other questions and parts to you exam, did u do coursework? remember this all counts. Chill out, go out, get drunk, have a great summer, I swear it'll be the best one of your life so far.
