Even that's not as good as it was. Tiny fish these days......I've seen bigger sardines out of a tin than the bloody minnows they try and pass off as cod these days. And they don't even wrap them in newspaper anymore.....probably some bloody buggery stupid European law that makes it illegal
    lol.

That's the one (and actually the only) thing I am looking forward to from my forthcoming visit; a real nasty ring-stinging vindaloo....

    One word. Bland.
Succulent pieces of the most tasty meat I have ever tasted, in a rich onion gravy with a buttery suet pudding hiding more pieces of meat inside it. *drools* This is the NICEST pub I have ever been too though. Finished off with a steamed Spotted **** with plenty of hot syrup and custard. Bland! Vraiment?

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree!

My favourite food is Iranian food. It's not spicy but is aromatic, with plenty of herbs, fruits and vegetables.

I dare say that one of the reasons so many people want to leave is because they think immigration is such a problem.......

Interestingly though, I came accross a survey not so very long ago which ranked the UK as number one in the developed world in one respect......the % of people that would leave if the opportunity arose. It was something like 45%!! (compared to something like 8% for the European average) Rather telling I thought.

Don't be ridiculous. I can't believe how almost a decade later you Labor supporters are still blaming the countries woes on the Tory party; are you really that desperate to mitigate your own piss poor attempt at managing the country? A decade.

Irrelevant. If 18 years of Conservative rule really mucked up the country (and it didn't) then why were they in power for 18 years rather than 8? Anyway, Labour has had more than enough time to clear up the so called mess that the Conservatives left.

they should cast an eye back to what it was like at the end of the 70's when the tories came in. that was after a labour dominated spell in the 15years preceeding. it was hardly fantastic.

people should also take a peek at gordon browns regime. a lot of it is implementing, retaining or stealing tory economic style.

If it took 18 years to make the mess, why shouldn't it take 18 years to clear up?

It takes 0.01 secs to smash a milk bottle, but about 5 minutes to sort out the mess.

Thatcher-induced vibrancy or unburied dead & decadence under the boot of demi-socialism? Oh such a harsh dilemma, which shall I chose?
