I need to resit GCSE english language because i had C and need a B.
I heard that GCSE resit replaces the mark even if it is lower. is this true?
i dont want to resit and then get a worse mark as it may eliminate my C.

I don't think so. I think when you resit you receieve a certificate and grade in the usual way, so you couldobviously use the highest grade for the purposes of applying to Further Education Establishments and Employment (I think) Perhaps chek with a teacher or exam specification?

Doesnt really matter if you have 2 qualifications for the same subject, all you do is present the certificate with the best grade on it.

that would take a lot of work as all the sylabuses are different and you would have to take many exams

Your school will only teach one boards syllabus, so you'll have to take the exam to whatever board your school taught, but its likely that you'll have all 3 boards.
