Im doing AQA history A2 and i absolutely HATE it. Its mainly because of the topics our school chose tho'. We do british history 1840-1886 and Russian history 1851-1992, and its incredibly dull.

Ooh I love mine! It's Elizabethan history (European really), American history before the civil war, and black civil rights after the war. I have to drop it in september and am gonna miss it so much!

That sounds really interesting! Our options are really economically based and too tedious to do for 2 whole years.

Sounds pretty boring; don't worry though, not long left! I convinced my history teachers to do the modules we are studying, and it worked Loads of people are doing the same, or similar to you, and say it's really tedious. I definitely prefer to learn more about social and civil issues than political, and especially economical.

AQA Historian here! We're doing Britain 1841-1884 (Read: Peel, Gladstone and Disreali) and German/Russian 1825-1939. I've really enjoyed my course, but that's largely because I've gone a lot further then my course required.

I really enjoy[ed ] my lessons, but can't deal with the exams and the whole mark scheme thing. I'm doing Elizabeth and some European stuff.
