my teacher gave me a list of the case studies that are most likely to come up this year:
Providing for population change:traffic and waste problems(Boston+London)
population growth in an LEDC (Sao Paulo)
Planning for Change:small scale energy project in LEDC (india)
large scale energy project in MEDC (France)
Water: water management project (aswan dam)
Recreation and tourism:national park in EU (lake district)

these are only guidelines, and we were told to focus our revision on these, but not forget to look at the others just in case

thanks, i'm dreading this exam, one of the worst ones. mine are pratically the same but some are different as we did local areas for the traffic and waste.
you know the recreation and tourism one do you need to know the LEDC one as well as an MEDC??

yer, u need to know an ecotourism project thingy in an LEDC, but that came up last year, so is unlikely to come up again this year.
and as i live in a stupid island, none of the waste and traffic things apply, only coasts do,which i did for my coursework, and they had to come up in the dme, i could have answered questions on them easily!

me neither, we had a revision session a few weeks ago and we got given pieces of card with the case study written on the front and then 10 facts (the odd word) on the back and you just keep going through them until you can remember all the facts. it makes it a lot easier, it may not work for every one though!
