i sent off my ucas application on friday, i was trying to check ucas track but it is looking for a ucas application number. where do i get this application number, do i have to wait for my letter in th post, or does the number come up on ucas site as well? iv logged into my 'apply' area, and it says

'Your application has been sent to UCAS and will be processed shortly
(normally within 24 hours). After it has been processed you will be able to see your
application number and password for ucastrack (the UCAS Applicant Enquiry Service).'

so does this mean that my application number will appear on my apply area once its been processed ?

or how did u get your ucas application number ?

    thanks !

You have to wait till it's processed, then they will send you your application number.

Wait till your letter arrives. You get a UCAS pack which tells you all your information etc, and provides other usefull booklets.

its should also come up on the apply page where it says "'Your application has been sent to UCAS and will be processed shortly
(normally within 24 hours). After it has been processed you will be able to see your
application number and password for ucastrack (the UCAS Applicant Enquiry Service).'"

ok, sure i dont mind waiting , just it said 'normally 24hours' so was worried mayb i did something wrong , but if it takes a week thats ok

mm im only applying now cos i wasnt sure what to do , so i did some work experience etc and had a think about it, and iv decided to try now ! i know its late,( i think thats why im anxious about it , getting sorted out), but i thought no harm in trying, if nothing happens from it , then il just have to wait til next year

I filled in my form back in early April at the UCAS convention and they still haven't given me anything about it.
