just wondered if anyone here smokes cannabis??.. i dont smoke cigs, hate them, but i really do like the herb, a great medicine, especially if used correctly during exams, can really help you calm down/get a good nights sleep.
i dont wish to hear from mis-educated fools (although not your fault, it still annoys me) but if anyone actually uses it to help them in any way

I personally despise it. I dont touch it ever.
Someone I know just got arrested for possession funnily enough. They may even charge him with intent to supply because he was getting a load for him and his friends

So can tobacca, whats the difference?
smoked on its own, it damages your lungs alot less then tobacco
it does not trigger mental illnesses, perhaps if a user who has a family history of mental illness, it will speed up anything coming to him, but the drug is also being used to treat other kinds of mental illness so..

no, i am 100% positive with what i say, its pathetic how brain washed people can be.
of course, if you abuse it, it will do no good for you.. but nothing half as bad as alcohol, remember that.

Alchohol dosn't cause cancer like canibis does and it dosn't harm other people around you in the same way as smoking dope does.
Does lets ask the medics what causes more harm canibis or alchohol? Why do you think its ilegal? Its not for the fun of it.

ok during exam time nah i never smoke weed..prefer not to take the risk over potential concentration issues
but it is relaxing and i have used it, never through habit though
i agree however that is has long-term effects, and that is what has led me to try and think 'no more ever'..though with summer coming im sure ile probably get tempted and smoke a little..

"Cancer. Long-term heavy drinking increases the risk of developing certain forms of cancer, especially cancer of the esophagus, mouth, throat, and voice box. Women are at slightly increased risk of developing breast cancer if they drink two or more drinks per day. Drinking may also increase the risk for developing cancer of the colon and rectum. " it also damages the liver and is very easy to get dependant on, and dont forget while under the influence, it makes a lot of people violent and uncontrollable.
smoking around other people? well currently you can only smoke around other people that want to anyway, and when it does become legal it will be confined to special shops etc..
doctors give out prescriptions to use it for medication alot (not in the UK unfortunately, only unofficialy) i dont see that for alcohol

Cannabis does cause mental health problems if taken over a long period.
It's due to that and LSD that Syd Barret went schizophrenic, along with innumerable other members of rock bands. Don't do it long term!

Thats just like asking if smokers knew that smoknig causes cancer, of course they know but they do it regardless, a couple of my friend smoke it and a few times isnt bad but when you become addicted to it then it will trigger a mental illness. People try and make out the smoking cannabis is so much better than toabacco when in actual fact it isnt.
