    Not that its been on yet but I just saw the advert and it intruiged me enough to look it up.
    How much information do you think that adoptive parents should get about the children they adopt and family backgrounds. Or should children be able to start with a clean slate.
    And if parents get difficult children should they be able to have a course of action available against social services.

    In this case the parents were awarded damages for getting an uncontrollable chiild.

    I would imagine the adoption agencies discuss with prospective parents their openness to taking on a kid with known problems, no? Some parents would simply not have the confidence to offer a home to such a child, others would...
