    does anybody know if im allowed to take in the casio fx-115MS caluclator into the C2 exam?it can perform intergration and differentiation calculations. i think theres a specific list sayin which calculators are prohibited in the exam but i cant seem 2 find it.

    also, does anybody know if we hav 2 memorise the stuff at the bottom of page 115 in the C2 book for edexcel?

    any help is much appreciated.

    im pretty sure dat u can take any calculator- cos they dont bother 2 chek them anyway!! well alll they do is *** and press da reset button

    i dunno about ur 2nd question cos am not doin edexcel

    You should be fine with that calculator - it can only do numerical differentiation and integration: it's *symbolic* differentiation, integration and algebra that the exam board don't like.

    If you paid less than £30 for your calculator, chances are it's allowed for most exams.

    yep!! i think it depends on whether theres an external invigilator present- cos in my exams we always had an external one. so my teacher used 2 *** around pressing da reset button!
