Haha. Hope I'm the first to answer this - the pill is 98% effective or something - so you have no problems there. So stop worrying about it.

The mess, I feel like telling you just to wait to see what happens, but you'll find it... going down your leg when you stand up.

I've just restarted on the pill, and am planning on having sex with my boyfriend without a condom. However, I've only ever had sex using a condom, and I'm usually pretty paranoid about them breaking etc, so obviously I'm a bit scared about the whole experience. STI's aren't a worry, we're both getting tested although neither of us have ever had unprotected sex, I just...have an irrational fear of pregnancy despite the pill being more effective than our current contraceptive methods.

So anyways, I figured if lots of you told me how unlikely this is my brain might finally click that it's ok.

Oh and also, whats the mess scenario? Will it all disappear inside me attempting to fertilise my hopefully unreleased egg? Hmm..

ive been having sex on the pill without condoms for over a year now..
most definatly not pregnant, do not worry. and the pill works!

although without a condom is pretty messy stuff, and no it wont dissappear inside u, itl come out. make sure u have toilet roll handy! its very gory... :p:

try to stick with condoms if ur worried

I've never had unprotected sex so I just realised I wouldn't know what would happen to my swimmers. I too thought they would just naturally swim their way up into her crack even if she was standing. Does it all just come gushing out really?

EDIT: if you're properly protected and using other means of contraception, that is. responsible sex is where it's at! :biggrin:

what? lol it just falls straight back out of me, we have to keep tissues by the bed.

I've been having unprotected sex for 2 years on the pill and i've been fine. I much prefer it to sex with a condom, it just feels so much nicer and you don't get that horrible rubbery smell. You may need extra lubrication though, depending on multiple factors. xx

when I was on the pill, the paranoia got the better of me too.

yeh its all so messy!!

i have been a bit paranoid the last few months (been on the pill for 16months)
because my last period was literally lasted half a day and i dont know the reason for it because its always been normal before. ive got it again now and its still REALLY light. (do ya recon its stress?)
i went on the pill in the first place because they were so heavy...

(sorry to change it to me! lol, i was going to start a thread on it but i fort it would be better here)

I completely agree about it being better without a condom - it's so nice to be able to be spontaneous and it's so much more intimate!

I like to keep a towel nearby just in case, but so far I've not had to use it :biggrin:

I said I *haven't* had to use it, and also I prefer a towel as if necessary I could sleep on it so in the event of further 'leakage' during the night nothing would get dirty! :wink:
