In the last two minutes in H&R I've read about semen dribbling down a girls leg when she's on the pill, and guys going down on girls who are on the blob.

I've had sex on my period loads of times and it's actually not as messy as you think. I keep tissues near by for straight after but there's never that much of a mess.
But does anyone else find an orgasm really brings on cramps?
Reply 31
it's really bad to orgasm while your on your period, it draws blood higher up into yourself instead of coming out, so yea you'd get more cramps to try and get rid of the stuff you've just brought back into yourself

*hopes this is accurate*

No it's not. It does the opposite. It's actually recommended as it might help to prevent endotriomosis - can't spell - by allowing more contractions.

Yeah and a lot of women find it relieves cramps. It just seems to do the opposiite for me, I wondered if I was alone in this.

 i apologise for any part my thread had to play in that!

as for sex while on period..i have tried it once, when it was just pretty light. wasn't too horrific actually, my boyfriend said i was tighter than normal but i don't know if that was coincidence. it was reasonably but i don't want to do it again, just because i felt totally unsexy and self conscious. not good.

couldn't you just 'hypothetically' get norethisterone to delay your period? probably easier...

Ewww...no I couldnt personally do that. Even if my boyfriend wouldnt mind doing anything while I'm on (which he does :p: ) I wouldnt let him. No way

If I was a bloke I wouldnt like it.
*endometriosis

endometrium = uterine mucous lining
-osis = in the wrong place aka -iasis,

definitions if you must:

A condition, usually resulting in pain and dysmenorrhea, that is characterized by the abnormal occurrence of functional endometrial tissue outside the uterus.

A condition, usually resulting in pain and dysmenorrhea, characterized by the abnormal presence of functional endometrial tissue outside the uterus, frequently as cysts containing altered blood.

The presence and growth of functioning endometrial tissue in places other than the uterus that often results in severe pain and infertility.

If i were planning a dirty weekend I would do something to avoid having my period, it is a hassle and it would ruin the weekend. However, my boyfriend and I don't live together so we don't get the chance to have sex that often, and it'd be even less often if I let my period get in the way. Think about it, 5 days out of 30 is a sixth of your time that you have your period, that's quite a large proportion of your life. I'm lucky that my boyfriend doesn't mind it, but it's nothing to be squeamish about.
