major problem: scratched my Dad's car

So my dad and I got into a huge fight the other day because i have my driver's license, but he wouldnt lend me his car because he loves it and says that it is too expensive for me to drive as my first car in case it gets damaged.
Well my parents left this weekend and are coming back tomorrow. Like a complete idiot I decided to take his car out and completely scratched the side. What do I do now?!
HE WILL KILL ME.
Do I pretend like i dont know anything and make it seem like someone else came along and did it? Should I be honest? Oh God, now what?

Picture of the scratch but yet on a lexus any paint work isnt going to be cheap through them.

There's a scratch and a SCRATCH and plenty in between so we can't tell you how expensive it will be.

As for telling you if you should own up or not, that depends on how and where it's parked, if he can tell if you've driven it or not...

Are we talking a scratch or a dent or a gouge?

A picture would help. A close up and from a few feet away so it can be seen inperspective against the whole car.

You scratched your dad's Lexus ?
Take a video of his reaction when you tell him and put it on You Tube.:yep: :yep: :yep: :yep:
burn the car pretending it has been a revenge taken by someone who hates your father

Are you insured on it? Because if it's your dads car and he doesn't want you driving it, it sounds like you might not be...
Wow, you're screwed.

Pic of scratch.

Best thing you could do would be to get in a major crash which would write-off his car and hospitalise you. Then he couldn't give you grief because you nearly died in his car and he should care about you more than it.
If you have the money... book it in to get whatever you can repaired. Even if it can't be done before your parents get back at least you've been responsible enough to start to fix your mistakes. Or find someone reliable who can do a damn good job.

If you don't have the money then obviously you're gona have to grovel and promise to pay him back.

Either of these will be better than lying, as they probably won't believe you anyway. If you're honest, it'll blow over quicker than if you haver to lie for the rest of your life.

So dude, how did you do it?
