I dont think its so much the instrument, but the idea of going out with someone who is in a band. Though guitars are perfect for chilling out in a random field picking away at melodys (which dont have to be your own, if your girl doesnt know her music lol jk) and other stuff like that.

Well being musical myself I like musical guys because it's like there's an extra bit of the brain I can relate to. Cellists and double bassists are best. I've always admired pianists because I never got my hands around it myself. I'm not a big fan of brass players and woodwind players have their moments....especially clarinets! I do admire guitar players because, again, something I haven't quite managed however much I promise to teach myself. Viola players must be either very brave or stupid :smile:

And I'm surprised nobody's mentioned American Pie yet - "and this one time, at band camp..."

lol guitars are cool to pick up chicks with, a fella i used to go with played the guitar always made me go weak at the knees....thinking of it still does lol! guitars the best......no one can really play a flute nemore causeof that was said in 'american pie' *shakes head in disgrace* lol!!!!! xoxo

It's not in my list of must haves but someone who can play guitar esp bass guitar is cool :biggrin:

I play the drums and find its quite conversation point as quite a few people have said they dont know or have not heard of a lot of girls that do play them :biggrin:
