That's all there really is to do at my school that's somewhat "exotic" though. But we do have two new courses next year - Music Technology and Critical Thinking. Anyone else's school do either of those?

isnt there like 300 words in their alphabet or something? Seems like a bloody frustrating subject to learn. But if you're dedicated then good luck. If you really wanted to do it you could attend an evening class at college or get a home tutor.

There are 3 'alphabets'! 2 aren't so bad, but kanji has thousands and thousands of 'letters'. Most Japanese keep learning them throughout life!! Yeah, I'm thinking of doing an evening class next year.

I've just finished Russian GCSE but also did Japanese before that.
Japanese really isn't that hard you just have to memerise the 'letters' and for GSCE you hardley need to have an understanding of the language. Yup 3 alphabets: hiragana, katakana, and some chinese symbols.
