I know that most places will want AAA from resit applicants, but (as each day my confidence with Biology slips a little further) would they accept AAB as my resit results if I have had (and continue to have) extenuating circumstances? (Last year I got BCC, so I took a year out to redo the lot).

Or would I not stand a chance, and should probably start looking at doing another degree?

Not sure. Unless you've contacted them before the exams/your results are due, it's probably very unlikely.

Make contact with them now, if you haven't already...

Dunno really. I've also got BCC last year and now have an offer for AAA as am re-sitting due to extenuating circumstances and am hoping that they'll still have me with AAB! (quite freaky actually how I could have written pretty much exactly what you wrote!) Oh- and I don't know if it would be wise to say to unis that you didn't get the grades because extenuating circumstances are still there... but there again I suppose it depends on what they are. Good luck anyway.

    ps- what's your avatar?
