for those of you took this exam last week, for the letter question (the one where you had to write a letter to the governor about some changes to the school) would you loose marks for putting the address the wrong way round. i put my address on the left hand side, and the governors on the right. do you think id loose any marks, cos it does show that i can't set out a letter properly?

I don't think they'll knock any marks off, its what you put that's more important.

'tis true the content of the letter is what they care about.

Our English teacher said she would strangle us if she found that we started with I am writing to you to....

Well according to our teacher, they don't really care what you write ie. the contenr. They're more interseted in how you write it. That's what they are really after. We are doing OCR, wot exam board do you do?
