Does anybody have any suggestions for some sort of productive summer job? I am doing my A2 exams and have an offer at a good university. Any body have any ideas? Thanks

What course are you doing at university? I guess you could always try something related to what you are doing. Alhtough it is really quite late to organise anything with companies. I tried doing so a couple of months ago and most are already full, places I tried were mainly to do with finance, like KPMG. You could alway try emailing the companies' HR departments and ask them.

Or just work at high street stores and make some money beofre you go uni.

Go to McDonalds or Tesco. Both are flexable, and always taking people on. Tesco pay high too.

Also if you work at a big company, there is likely to be a branch near your uni, and if you should be able to transfer so you've got a job throughout uni if you want it.

It's also worth trying your local hospital. They often have summer jobs for students, and the pay tends to be better than Tesco's & the like. A common summer job would be culling Medical Records. Give them a try.
