    howd evrybody find todays paper
    the only question im not 100% sure about is 19 b and c whihc i did in a hurry

    definitely much more easier than the 1st paper but i found that stupid pyramid question annoying

    for me, this paper is harder than that non-calculator paper. but i think i did well.

    i did intermediate...

    the question that i couldnt get my head around was the one about...

    sale price. 20% off.
    the sale price was £220

    what was the normal price?

    i thought its 20% of 220 then add it back on... but it went wrong

    I thought that was quite hard esp. hexagon question-did any anybody get 5.66cm, 70.5 degrees and 30 degrees?

    Also the surds one! i guessed p=3 and q=10-wt did u lot get?

    although I think ive done well.
    can some one tell me what they got for the simualtanous equations
    i got X=1 and Y=2.5

    for me MUCH easier than non calc...
    well put it this way..on the non calc i left the last 6 questions blank and on this one i only left the last 1 1/2 questions blank...so definately easier for me

    i got £275 for that...cos erm £220 is 80% of the noram price so u do 220 / 0.80 = 275 and 275 x 0.20 = 55 which is 20%
    so to check 275 - 55 = 220 so its correct as 55 x 4 = 220 which is 80%

    I gt like x=-3 and y=-2 and x=3.4 and y=1.2 or somin like that

    i found that a bit harder than the non calc. i hated that pyramid question! for the percentage one, i got 275 pounds

    ****ing hell. it was much harder than noncalculator paper. i got stuck on pyramid question and then realised that it is possible to solve them with cosine rule.

    I messed up on the lorry one, i did 1150/60.5 which is 19.something..... i think i was meant to do 1250/59.5. What did everyone else do?

    I think it was 1250 (because thats the upper bound of 1200 to 2sf) divided by 55 (because 55 is the lower bound of 60 to 1sf), which is 22.7
