11. why y plpl finding the simultaneous eq. one hard. that was a just simple question
The trainagle one was cool. I think we all agree it was 5.666, 38.9 and 33.6 right?
12. Hey everyone - yeah I think that paper went great .
Could do most of the questions. One dead silly easy question I messed up was the one about the mean. To calculate the mean you have to multiply the the middle of the range by the frequency not the highest value! Duh!

Silly me! Anyway that question was worth 4 marks as well... But I showed my working so how many marks would i get for that lol? I got the method just multiplied the wrong numbers! What a clot...

yeh same here, some of my mates got numbers into 140's i was like NO! but about 5people had it and i was like hmmm but i'm glad now that you lot got what i did
17. For the van question I got 22. Although the answer was 22.7, which would round to 23, you cant have 0.7 of a box now can you? And you cant make 0.3 of a box fit. So the answer just has to be 22.

What do peeps think out there?

Davror
18. i got 17 for the reasons explained in other posts
i think we need to stop with the van question, as there is no way of showing which is right

i got 8/25 for the first part and £4 for the second
I got the first one as 0.32, which I think is equal to 8/25?? Did it have to be in fraction form? I got the second one correct at £4 coz if I remember correctly it was £20 total - £16 from winnings = £4?
