me too. apart from the obvious of 'revise it all!' all id say is learn the different interpretations of the historians listed on the syllabus of Cromwell, especially since the title of the paper is 'Hero or Villain?'. id imagine they put those names on the syllabus for a reason, so get a gist of their general viewpoints on Cromwell.

    Otherwise good luck!

unfortunatly the specs dont give dates, they just say 'in the period of the interregnum'

i guess this means we dont really need to know stuff pre-1649, but id imagine some knowledge of Cromwell's success in the Civil Wars would be useful, and stuff about his belief that God wanted parliament to win, and rid of the king etc too.

annoyingly the syllabus i not very specific on it, but having looked at past papers, none of them have done anything on stuff before prides purge

I'm doing this, it covers the Commonwealth & Protectorate Parliaments, up until the death of Cromwell in 1658. We've hammered Cromwell to death, as we did Option O: Monarchy Challenges, Restrained, Rejected, Restored, which cleverly covers the Interregnum too, so I'm not too worried. Just throw some viewpoints of Coward, Gaunt and Lynch in, and you're good to go.
