# whats 'p'? watch

1. right i have this question, and i dont know how do answer it, could anybody possibly help?
It has a circumference of 6km and accelerates protons and antiprotons to 1000 GeV (1 TeV). Calculate the wavelength of the protons produced by this machine. (h = 6.6 x 10-34 Js, c = 3.0 x 108ms-1, e = 1.6 x 10-19 C)

The answer is 1.2375 x 10^(-18)

Help would be so much appreciated!

5. convert ev's into joules so times by charge
(1x10^12)*(1.6x10^-19) that gets the energy (1.6x10^-7)J
energy/h gives frequency of 2.42x10^26hz
and taking V to be the speed of light and using v=f(lamda) i get to 1.2375x10^-18
6. someone is doing phy4 tomorrow morning
