Anyone else do WJEC English Literature?
The poetry exam was this morning.... >_____<

I had to do Keats.. considering I was kicked out of that particular class and removed from the exam (or so I had thought) for refusing to do drama instead of learn, and thus had never read a page of his poetry in my life (it's just so very hard to understand!) I think I coped with it pretty well.

Of course, I wrote down the wrong question number and stuff. ^_^;;

I think the best sentence I wrote was this:

(About "La Belle Dame Sans Merci".)

"The last line to every stanza is short and abrupt, with only five syllables compared to the eight of every other line in the stanza [...] so the reading of this poem is very ugly. However, many critics would say that all of Keats' poetry is ugly, ungainly rhyming structures covered, like plaster over an ugly crack in a wall, with extensive use of a thesaurus."

....I really don't like him very much.

Yep I did the WJEC poetry paper....The Nun's Priest's Tale by Chaucer It didn't go very well at all, an hour is so short a time to show what you are capable of from a whole year's work. Only the synoptic paper to go now tho
