    well well, I did some stupid wrong .
    The question about change in G.P.E ...
    the condition is change in height is not big due to gravitational field strength must be constant, or the satallite is near the surface of the Earth ?

    You should have plotted the first bit. The question said for values from R to 4R although i doubt u will lose marks

    except tehy said start with minimum R being at radius R

    i did the stright line initally, and tehn tipexxed it out for safety:rolleyes: - was three marks so i did the scaling of the g/9 and g/16 just to be on the safe side

    the graph was only from r to 4r, therefore the begining bit shouldnt be there ...

    yes - tahts what i did - and what the other past papers' markschemes showed) - anyway, if it wasn't how else would you get three marks for a qeutsion like that?

    i cant belive i got the second capacitance bit wrong! i used the total capacitance and the total voltage . maybe ill get a point for my working out (q=cv etc) but i doubt it lol.

    the said the lines spread out, but we can see, its a bit ambiguous.

    finally, for the "leaving voltage" for the electron, i did mv^2/2 = qv DIVIDED BY TWO!!! i cant belive i didvided it by two. therefore my answer was twice as much as it had to be

    sigh. i feel crap now.

    btw, what are the grade boundaries for an A (for a-lvel)? i thought it was 80% but some1 told me it was 75% ...

    I started from R as R was the minimum value. [1 mark]

    Then i plotted g/9, g/16 and drew the graph. [2 marks]
