Arc length = ∫ [1+(dy/dx)2]1/2dx

dy/dx = sinh(x/a)

Arc length = ∫ [1+sinh2(x/a)]1/2dx = ∫ cosh(x/a) dx

= asinh(x/a) , from -ka to ka

= 2asinh(x/a) , from 0 to ka

= 2asinh(k)
