Yep. A bit sprawling, very populist. Enjoyed it nonetheless.

i'd love to see him! i thought charlton heston (is that his name), is a complete idiot but it was really odd-he looked so frail when moore went to visit him. And i thought it was v.interesting the the NRA began when the KKK was declared illegal.

he's talks rubbish. Like the bit about the bank that was giving away guns. They weren't giving them away to any old person over the counter, people who wanted it had to show a license to the gun shop 40 miles away. He's all spin and ironically HE personifies everything wrong with the world.

Good programme it was. What I saw of it. Then The Premiership came on...

Best bit probably the cartoon on American history.

The NRA and the KKK were both formed by an ex Confederate general named Nathan Bedford Forest. As for one being declared illegal before the forming of the other, thats rubbish.

i hate Moore he is such an idiot

actually that annoyed me so much, the mention of nazi germany was done seriously tastefully. its not there is anyway any normal person would disagree with his point. everything is decontextualized typical american perspective.

that was the best part!! it was great...

i liked it but it's something you see once and remember, not like stuff you see over and over again- that would just get depressing. i found either you like it or you hate it and i liked it

Ok, I happen to beleive that the US have to lax gun controll laws, but for gods sake, his arguments contradict each others all the time. First he blaims the gun controll laws, only to say that it has nothing to do with the gun laws (bringin in canada as a counterexample) and then he finishes the movie insinuating that the NRA was partially responsible in the death of that little girl. Seriously, this guy doesnt have any real argument, hes just playing on public opinions. He even managed to throw in a chapter on racial discrimination as well. Ok, I have some issues with american policy, but I have even greater issues with people who do not give a damn , just pretending to care in order to make huge money on public opinion.

All he should have said was "2nd Amendment".

Apparently his book Stupid White Men is quite good and funny, might check it out...

It was funny but just as faulty as the movie. I kind of liked Dude where is my country better, although everyone else seem to think the opposite.
