    Riight, so cringey but yeah.
I had a period like 2 weeks ago, finished like a week ago. Night before last, was having some rather enthusiastic fun with boyfriend, protection used, blah blah. I started bleeding 'down there' or having some sort of bloody discharge stuff coming out (ew ew ew sorry if this is grossing you out as much as it is me) the next morning... Having a bit of a panic that we did some damage? This bleeding is different to a normal period. I'm 18, have never really been so irregular/had a period so close to another one. Haven't missed a pill or anything like that. help?
I know I should probably 'see a doctor' but hugely embarrassing because mine is a family friend and male, in his own practice so I can't just see another one.

well go to a clinic then beccause you could of had too vigorous sex and could have torn lining.however you could visit a doctor in another town as an out of area patient. depends on if you are williing to pay to travel.

If you weren't in any pain with the bleeding, then it was likely just 'spotting', i.e. blood without period, which is very normal. Most girls will experience it once or twice. However, if it does keep happening, it's best to go see a doctor, just to make sure. It can be a sign of a hormone imbalance (such as PCOS), but don't worry, this isn't too big an issue!

Sometimes if you have fairly 'enthusiastic' sex it might result in a little bit of bleeding, as long as it's just some light spotting and isn't causing you any pain, it's likely to be normal. Also if you're 18 it could just be an irregular period. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it is really heavy and causing you a lot of pain.

If you can't see your doctor phone NHS direct. See what they say.

ahh okay this has put my mind at rest a bit. I know spotting is a side effect of the pill? I'm not in any pain, just a bit freaked cos it's never happened to me before. thanks

Sounds strange.... lol I was thinking "miscarriage!!" but then realised that you had your period 2 weeks ago so unlikely...
I don't know, if it stops soon then don't worry about it?
If it carries on/ happens more than once ask your doctor?
Or maybe just call up a helpline kinda thing.
